Job summary

A logistics firm in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Coordinator to manage spare parts receiving and issuing, while ensuring accuracy against system records. You will conduct periodic stock evaluations, arrange goods orderly, and ensure consignment stock is safeguarded. Candidates are required to have a degree in Business or equivalent experience in warehouse management, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. Responsibilities
  • Spare Part Receiving and Issuing
    • Ensure its accuracy against system’s records to minimize stock variances.
    • Prevent any pilferage and loss of stock.
    • Provide periodical stock status and clear redundant stock.
    • Provide stock status to engineering department for spare parts return.
  • Stock allocation and issuance
    • Ensure stock is allocated and issued to respective ticket request.
    • Arrange all goods in an orderly manner in the store and ensure the stock is kept in an organized manner.
  • Stock take
    • Carry out stock take activities and submit relevant reports to manager.
    • Prevent unnecessary stocking and near JIT concept to minimize handling cost.
  • Expensed Sales Order in ERP System
    • Keep track of spare parts’ movements and ensure stocks are replenished in a timely manner.
    • Processing of OPEX order with right WBSE and PR Type.
    • Respond to daily pricing request from customers to fulfill customers’ ad hoc, per call and tender request.
  • Safeguard of consignment stock
    • Safeguard of consignment stocks and ensure parts’ are returned to principal according to SLA.
    • Comply with processes required by principals.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business or minimum SPM with 4 – 5 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Diligent in handling physical spare parts.
  • Trustworthy and committed.
  • Proactive with good problem solving skills
  • Meticulous in work.
  • Good team player.
  • Willing to work under tight schedules to meet stringent timelines.
