Marketing/Senior Marketing Executive (Event)
Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy & Planning: Contribute ideas to the development and execution of marketing plans and strategies, translating high‑level strategies into actionable tactical plans.
- Event Management: Plan and execute marketing events, including exhibitions, book fairs, seminars. Manage all logistical and administrative aspects, from planning and setup to on‑site execution.
- Marketing Materials Development: Collaborate with designers to create a range of marketing materials (both digital and print) for sales teams, online retailers, partners and e‑commerce platforms.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including authors, teachers, production vendors, dealers and retail partners.
- Dealer/Distributor Support: Develop and distribute marketing materials to support dealers, partners and distributors in their online, in‑store and event‑based sales efforts. Manage inventory and stock of marketing materials.
- Digital Marketing & Social Media: Organise content creation, scheduling and posting across assigned social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram).
Qualifications:
- Minimum one degree in Event Management, Business Studies, Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communication, Advertising, Media or equivalent.
- Proficient in English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin.
- 1‑5 years of experience in marketing events and/or the education industry or similar.
- Willing to travel to event sites from time to time.
