Position Marketing Manager

ROLE PURPOSE

The Marketing Manager of KASS International is responsible for leading and executing data-driven marketing strategies to strengthen brand visibility, drive lead generation, and enhance client engagement across assigned regions. This role requires a proactive and strategic marketing leader with a strong understanding of market dynamics, digital marketing practices, and the professional services environment, including the IP industry. The Marketing Manager oversees marketing initiatives and operations, collaborates closely with sales and internal stakeholders, manages external vendors, and develops marketing capability within the team to support business growth and organisational objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  1. Strategic & Data-Driven Execution
    • Develop and implement tailored marketing strategies aligned with the firm’s overall business and growth objectives.
    • Identify market opportunities, client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform marketing direction.
    • Lead market research and performance analysis to refine targeting, positioning, and messaging.
    • Translate data insights into actionable marketing plans, priorities, and recommendations.
    • Review campaign performance, funnel metrics, and ROI to optimise strategy and investment decisions.

    Manager focus: Owns marketing direction, priorities, and performance outcomes — not just execution.

  2. Operational & Compliance Excellence
    • Oversee day-to-day marketing operations to ensure smooth, timely, and high-quality execution of campaigns.
    • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve marketing processes, SOPs, and workflows.
    • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards.
    • Oversee marketing tools and systems including website, CRM integration, analytics platforms, automation, and reporting.
    • Manage vendors and agencies to ensure deliverables meet quality, brand, timeline, and cost expectations.

    Manager focus: Ensures reliability, scalability, compliance, and operational discipline across marketing.

  3. Growth & Client Success
    • Lead marketing initiatives that drive lead generation, lead nurturing, and conversion in partnership with sales teams.
    • Plan and oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, content, events, and other channels.
    • Develop and execute client engagement, retention, and brand visibility programmes.
    • Ensure marketing campaigns and events clearly communicate the firm’s value proposition to target audiences.
    • Support mission planning and business initiatives with strategic marketing input and contingency planning.

  4. People Leadership & Development
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team and interns, setting clear goals, priorities, and expectations.
    • Provide guidance, feedback, and coaching to strengthen marketing capability and accountability.
    • Build structured workflows and ensure effective delegation of marketing tasks and projects.
    • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance marketing culture.
    • Support continuous learning, adaptability, and professional growth within the team.

  5. Collaboration & Synergy
    • Work closely with sales, regional leaders, and cross-functional teams to ensure marketing alignment with business goals.
    • Lead effective internal meetings with sales to align campaigns, priorities, and pipeline support.
    • Act as a trusted marketing partner to internal stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations.
    • Encourage knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and best-practice adoption across teams and regions.

QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, BEHAVIOUR)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred but not essential.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the IP or professional services industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, and social media.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Regional and central teams.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
