rhi is recruiting a Marketing Manager to join our client's team in KL, Malaysia!

  • This is a 12-month contract opportunity *Potential to turn permanent - based on performance*
  • Travel may be involved in this role to AsPAC regions (Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand etc).
  • Working hours will be 8.30am - 5.30pm (flexibility given as and when there are night calls with the global team- 4 to 5 times per month - roughly around 8.30pm KL time)

Data Centre cooling is a strategically important, fast-growing business area for our client! With our client's advanced liquid cooling fluid technology, they aim to transform the industry by driving the adoption of liquid cooling as a pathway to sustainable data centre operation aligned with our client's Net Zero ambitions.

AsPAC Marketing Manager creates the right marketing and communication plans for AsPAC Data centre market, supports leading our client ON brand with the right product portfolio in AsPAC and develops and executes marketing activities in AsPAC data centre thermal management market in the specified region to help deliver volume, turnover and gross margin targets.

ASPAC Marketing Manager is responsible for operational marketing excellence across the data centre team and to develop step-out opportunities for our client's data centre cooling business beyond the core products with focus on new business models and value-added services.

The successful candidate works closely with the global Marketing Head of Data Centre and our client LT to build and execute a strong marketing activation plan for AsPAC.

Key Accountabilities
  • Execute world-class thermal management marketing plans in the AsPAC market, adapting global thermal management offers as part of the in‑market marketing strategy
  • Lead and prepare the annual marketing plan for the AsPAC market to generate new sales leads for the DC space and underpin the volume, turnover, and gross margin targets achievement
  • Leverage paid/owned/earned media as media mix to drive brand equity and sales leads generation
  • Monitor key market movements and the competitive landscape in the DC sectors and generate business insights to drive media and market planning.
  • Identify potential areas for offer development based on market needs and share these insights with the global marketing team.
About You
  • University degree with preferably a post‑graduate qualification
  • 8+ years of experience in branding, product market, and big event organization within a B2B environment, with a proven track record of delivering innovative value propositions
  • Candidate needs to have multi‑national/global company exposure - understand markets in other countries
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing with solid experience in social media marketing and 3+ experience in event organization in big trade show
  • Ability to shape and frame ideas through strong conceptual and analytical thinking
  • Proven experience in developing new business and growth areas within a corporate or innovation/start‑up context
  • Strong knowledge of the data centre industry and cooling value chain is a plus.
  • Track record of working collaboratively across functions
  • AI/datacenter/cooling solution solid experience is preferred
  • Social / Digital Marketing experience
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Commercial acumen and excellent negotiation skills
  • Experience of global project management and capable to deal with stakeholders with a multi‑culture environment is a plus
  • Preferred candidates will demonstrate self‑motivation, strong execution, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to shape and frame ideas through strong conceptual and analytical thinking
