The Marketing Executive will be the driving force behind Obtech's social media presence and visual content strategy. This hands‑on role requires a blend of creative content creation, especially short‑form video production (e.g., for TikTok/Reels), strategic social media management, and performance analysis. You will be responsible for building engaging online communities, promoting our innovative and eco‑friendly packaging solutions, and increasing brand awareness across key platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management:
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging daily content across key social media platforms, including TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Develop a compelling social media content calendar that aligns with company marketing goals, product launches, and industry trends.
- Monitor, manage, and respond to comments, messages, and audience inquiries in a timely and professional manner to foster an active online community.
- Video Content Creation:
- Take full ownership of end‑to‑end video production, including conceptualization, scriptwriting, filming (using a smartphone or basic equipment), and editing high‑quality, attention‑grabbing short‑form videos for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Produce video content that showcases product features, industry best practices (e.g., sustainability, hygiene), customer success stories, and company culture.
- Campaign Execution & Reporting:
- Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns and manage basic social media advertising (paid ads) to drive engagement and business leads.
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversion) using analytics tools and provide regular reports with actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- General Marketing:
- Support with other digital marketing tasks and offline events as required.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest social media platform updates, content formats, and industry developments in the packaging/disposable products sector.
Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 1‑2 years of demonstrated working experience in Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, or Content Creation.
- A diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven ability to create and edit engaging short‑form video content for social media (a demonstrative portfolio/links to work is essential).
- Familiarity with video editing and graphic design tools such as CapCut, InShot, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Illustrator).
- Excellent proficiency in managing and growing business accounts on major platforms, specifically TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Highly creative, resourceful, and possesses a keen eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines independently.
- Basic knowledge and hands‑on experience with social media analytics tools to track performance.
- Exposure to social media advertising/paid campaigns is a plus.
