About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing & Communications Manager to lead and execute impactful marketing initiatives that drive mall footfall, strengthen brand presence, and enhance shopper engagement. This role plays a key part in shaping the mall’s marketing direction through innovative campaigns, tenant collaborations, and data‑driven decision‑making.

You will oversee integrated marketing efforts across digital and offline channels, manage a dedicated team, and work closely with tenants and external partners to deliver compelling experiences for both new and existing visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic marketing concepts, campaigns, and initiatives to drive footfall and enhance overall brand visibility.

Plan, launch, and manage integrated digital and offline advertising campaigns, from concept development through execution and evaluation.

Conceptualize and implement creative, fresh, and innovative marketing initiatives, including promotional activities, on‑ground events, pop‑ups, and community engagement programs that resonate with mall shoppers.

Collaborate closely with tenants to develop joint promotions, cross‑brand activations, and co‑marketing initiatives.

Oversee the layout, visual presentation, and ambiance of key mall areas, including curation of seasonal decorations, thematic displays, and promotional event spaces.

Develop, manage, and optimize the annual marketing budget, ensuring cost efficiency and strong return on investment (ROI).

Establish performance metrics and conduct post‑campaign analysis using KPIs such as footfall, engagement, conversion, and tenant participation to improve future marketing strategies.

Lead, manage, and guide team members responsible for social media updates, advertising, and promotional activities for both the mall and its tenants.

Coordinate with vendors, designers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective execution of all marketing initiatives.

Prepare regular marketing reports and presentations for Management.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Superior / Managing Director.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications, Advertising, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Prior experience in shopping malls, retail, lifestyle, or hospitality industries will be an added advantage.

Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to manage both short‑term campaigns and long‑term marketing strategies.

Solid understanding of integrated marketing, branding, digital marketing, and on‑ground activations.

Strong analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking, reporting, and campaign optimization.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with tenants, vendors, designers, and internal teams.

Resourceful, creative, and hands‑on, with the ability to deliver impactful results within budget constraints.

Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
