Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or any related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, or campaign execution.
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
- Hands‑on experience or solid foundational knowledge in Meta Ads / TikTok Ads is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, supervise, and support a growing marketing team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
- Creative, disciplined, proactive, and strongly result‑driven.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data (CTR, CPC, CPM, ROAS, engagement metrics).
- Updated with the latest social media trends, content formats, viral hooks, and competitor activity.
- Strong sense of brand‑building and the ability to translate business goals into effective marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Workflow Management
- Lead, supervise, and monitor day‑to‑day operations of the marketing team (content creators, designers, ad managers).
- Plan weekly and monthly marketing schedules, ensuring all tasks and deliverables follow deadlines.
- Maintain workflow structure, brand guidelines, and internal SOPs across all outputs.
- Train, guide, and evaluate new marketing staff on Mechanize’s branding, voice, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Team and Management to ensure full alignment on priorities, campaigns, and stock movement.
2. Campaign & Content Execution
- Manage and execute multi‑platform marketing campaigns (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Carousell).
- Develop creative strategies, hooks, and ideas for videos, ads, visuals, and brand storytelling.
- Coordinate with Sales Team to produce high‑converting ads based on trending inventory and top‑performing units.
- Ensure brand consistency across content quality, visuals, captions, posting formats, and communication style.
- Maintain premium, modern, and high‑impact content that aligns with Mechanize’s identity and market positioning.
3. Brand Strategy, Relevancy & Market Positioning
- Develop and execute strategies to strengthen Mechanize’s brand reputation, trust, and market authority.
- Ensure the brand remains relevant, modern, premium, and consistently visible to the public.
- Lead brand initiatives that differentiate Mechanize from competitors (quality‑process storytelling, warranty assurance, specialist advantage).
- Conduct competitor analysis to track market trends, pricing direction, and content performance.
- Propose monthly and quarterly branding activities to position Mechanize as the #1 Laptop Trade‑In Specialist in Malaysia.
- Explore new opportunities such as influencer partnerships, collaborations, and brand expansion channels.
- Maintain strong brand presence through consistent messaging and customer‑centric content.
4. Performance Monitoring & Analytics
- Track, analyze, and report marketing performance metrics (CTR, CPC, CPM, engagement rate, conversion rate) weekly.
- Recommend optimization strategies and scaling opportunities based on data insights.
- Identify high‑performing content and replicate winning techniques.
- Monitor cost‑efficiency of ads and overall marketing investment.
5. Brand Reputation & Customer Engagement
- Uphold and enhance Mechanize’s brand image across all social and digital platforms.
- Monitor comments, reviews, and customer interactions; highlight risks or issues to management immediately.
- Ensure timely responses for customer inquiries on all platforms.
- Develop educational and value‑driven content to help customers understand the benefits of buying used laptops.
