Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer for a Marine Navigation company in Johor, Malaysia. The role includes monitoring vessel connectivity, troubleshooting various network issues, and providing first-line support to customers. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in IT or Networking, with good knowledge of networking fundamentals and some experience in NOC operations. Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in NOC operations, IT support, or network technical support.
• Good experience in IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, routing, NAT, and Wi-Fi.
• Familiarity with Firewalls, routers, switches, modems, and access points.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vessel connectivity and network performance.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for network equipment.
• Ensure timely response and resolution of customer incidents.
• Provide first-line support via email, phone, and tickets.
• Assist with daily/weekly NOC reports.
