Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Marine Assistant to support marine operations and ensure safe, efficient daily activities. The ideal candidate will assist vessel operations, maintenance, and compliance with maritime safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily marine and vessel operations ( prefer container experience )
• Support docking, undocking, and mooring activities
• Conduct routine inspection and basic maintenance of marine equipment
• Assist with loading and unloading operations as required
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and maritime regulations
• Maintain accurate operational logs and reports
• Support marine crew and officers with assigned tasks

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Marine Studies or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant deck marine or offshore experience (fresh graduates may be considered)
• Basic knowledge of cargo operation, stowage. Prefer container stowage and operations.
• Ability to work in shifts and offshore environments (if required)
• Able to work in marine conditions
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Valid maritime certifications (e.g., STCW, BOSIET) are an advantage
• Able to travel overseas as and when required.
