Job summary

A leading retail management firm in Selangor seeks a Marketing Coordinator to manage integrated advertising and promotional campaigns. Responsibilities include coordinating campaigns, liaising with retail tenants, and monitoring market trends. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of marketing experience and a relevant degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and multilingual skills (English, Bahasa Malaysia) are essential, while knowledge of Mandarin or Tamil is advantageous.

Job description

To create monitor and manage integrated advertising/promotional campaigns aligned with the mall's brand and commercial goals.

To coordinate seasonal/festive and Tactical campaigns from end-to-end campaign such as logistics, creative briefing, vendor coordination, timeline management, and on-ground activation.

To liaise with retail tenants to develop joint promotions promptly.

To assist in monitoring market trends, research consumer markets and competitor's activities to identify opportunities and key issues.

To act according to SOP's to ensure proper internal controls are establish as well as creating a clear and smooth operational environment.

To ensure good document management to create audit trails and encourage and implement a proper, auditable and transparent procurement process.

To instill discipline, integrity and positive work culture as well as encouraging professional development in terms of knowledge and awareness of industry to stay relevant and ahead of the market.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or promotions, preferably in retail, FMCG, hospitality, or shopping mall operations.

Able to operate Microsoft Office 365 and utilize its functions, wherever applicable.

Experience working with mall tenants, vendors, sponsors and agency is advantageous.

Multilingual fluency: Professional English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin or Tamil is a strong advantage for tenant/partner liaison.
