Job summary

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Review and liaise with the customer regarding product BOM, product specifications, drawings, test requirements, and process requirements during the RFQ stage.
  • Develop the project plan from the initial stage to exit to mass production, covering project budget, resources, timeline, milestones, tools & jigs preparation, production floor space, and delivery plan.
  • Understand and set up the BOM in the system, manage customer‑initiated material changes, engineering changes (ECN), MRB, and recommend implementation.
  • Prepare and develop all relevant Quality System documentation, including but not limited to Work Instructions, Test Procedures, PFMEA, Product/Process Control Plan, Assembly Acceptance Checklist, drawings, and other product specifications.
  • Liaise with the customer and various departments on product‑related issues such as project status, engineering changes, jig and fixture design, process capability, and more.
  • Deliver or lead the resolution of manufacturing issues and conduct continuous process improvement using statistical data analysis techniques such as process capability studies, DOC, and SPC, ensuring a smooth and efficient production flow and product quality.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or an equivalent field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in the related field.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing is preferred.
  • AutoCAD knowledge, solid technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical & electronic schematics, pneumatics schematics, and SolidWorks.
  • Strong operational, leadership, and interpersonal skills with a drive for excellence and enthusiasm.
  • Creative and proactive contributor to the management team, results oriented, and focused on continuous improvement through LEAN concepts.
