Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Johor, Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to oversee daily operations aimed at meeting production schedules and quality targets. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronic, or Industrial Engineering and have at least 2 years of manufacturing experience. Responsibilities include managing efficiencies, implementing Lean/Six Sigma strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role offers a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Skilled in reading mechanical drawings and SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Oversee new transfer initiatives and create process documentation.
• Perform time studies, assess workflow, and recommend efficiency enhancements.
• Manage corrective measures from inspections and audits.
• Plan factory layouts, design jigs and fixtures, and drive continuous improvements.
• Evaluate product designs for manufacturability and identify root causes of defects.
• Implement Lean/Six Sigma strategies to boost quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Develop production procedures, validate processes/products, and approve new equipment.
• Generate reports on manufacturing performance and ensure customer satisfaction.
