A leading automotive company in Klang City seeks a driven Product & Projects Executive (Mandarin Speaker) to support new product introductions and coordinate with China OEMs. This role requires expertise in product analysis, regulatory processes, and project management. Ideal candidates should possess a degree related to business or engineering and be proficient in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. The salary ranges between RM 5,500 and RM 8,000 depending on experience, and offers opportunities for local and China travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in product development, China sourcing, automotive, or project coordination is an advantage.
• Ability to understand technical specs and regulatory requirements.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate new vehicle products suitable for the Malaysian market.
• Analyse product specs, technical data, cost structures, and competitive positioning.
• Identify and engage China OEMs/principals, handle communication, documentation and follow-ups.
• Assist management in negotiating and finalising distributorship/dealership agreements.
• Coordinate with China principals for BOM, drawings, technical documents, and sample units.
• Manage Vehicle Type Approval (VTA) submissions with authorities.
• Request and compile all required test reports from China.
• Prepare proposals, comparison sheets, and internal briefing reports for management.
• Support business development activities and identify opportunities in new segments.
