Position Summary

We are seeking qualified and committed Mandarin Language Teachers to join our Kuala Lumpur teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering structured Mandarin lessons, preparing students for HSK examinations (Levels 1–6), and supporting overall student progress in accordance with Kunkwan’s teaching standards and curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching & Instruction
    • Conduct Mandarin classes from Beginner to Advanced levels.
    • Deliver lessons for HSK Levels 1–6, including vocabulary, grammar, reading, listening, and comprehension.
    • Facilitate both physical classes and online lessons via Zoom.
    • Ensure effective classroom management and a conducive learning environment.
    • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, quizzes, and teaching materials aligned with syllabus requirements.
    • Develop engaging activities such as pronunciation drills, learning games, and group discussions.
    • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Student Progress & Support
    • Monitor and evaluate student progress on a weekly/monthly basis.
    • Provide constructive feedback to support students’ improvement in writing, speaking, reading, and pronunciation.
    • Maintain a positive and motivating learning atmosphere.
  • Administrative Duties & Team Contribution
    • Record attendance, update class reports, and maintain student documentation accurately.
    • Participate in internal teacher training, coaching sessions, workshops, and curriculum improvement activities.
    • Support related company events such as Graduation days and education campaigns.
Required Qualifications (Must-Have)
  • HSK Certification (Minimum HSK 2; HSK 5–6 is strongly preferred).
  • Proficient in Mandarin speaking and writing with clear pronunciation.
  • Ability to teach using a structured syllabus and prepared lesson plans.
  • Able to commit to full-time work in Kuala Lumpur.
Additional Preferred Skills
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience.
  • Creative in designing teaching activities and interactive learning tools.
  • Familiarity with Chinese culture, festivals, and writing strokes.
  • Ability to teach both adults and children (optional).
Salary & Benefits
  • Competitive salary: RM2,667 – RM4,000 (based on experience and HSK qualification level).
