Operational Management
- Overseeday-to-day yacht operations, including fleet management, logistics, crewoperations, and maintenance.
- Ensurecompliance with international maritime laws, safety regulations, andindustry standards (e.g., ISM, ISPS, MLC).
- Implementoperational best practices to optimize efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Managebudgets, forecasts, and financial performance of the operations division.
- Approvelarge expenditures and monitor cost-efficiency across departments.
- Reporton financial and operational performance to stakeholders and boardmembers.
- Lead,mentor, and manage department heads and crew managers.
- Drivea performance-based culture with high standards of professionalism andaccountability.
- Overseerecruitment, training, and retention of high-caliber crew and operationalstaff.
Client Relations & Charter Management
- Fosterand maintain strong relationships with yacht owners, charter clients,brokers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensurethat yacht owners’ expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Supervisecharter operations and ensure world-class guest experiences.
Regulatory & Safety Compliance
- Ensureall yachts are compliant with maritime regulations and certifications.
- Overseesafety protocols, audits, incident response, and continuous crew training.
Brand & Reputation Management
- Representthe company at industry events, forums, and with regulatory authorities.
- Upholdand elevate the brand’s reputation for excellence and professionalism.
Requirements
- Bachelor'sor Master's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, MarineEngineering, or related field.
- Minimum10–15 years of experience in yacht management, maritime operations, orluxury hospitality, including senior leadership roles.
- In-depthunderstanding of maritime law, international regulations (IMO, SOLAS,MARPOL), and yacht industry trends.
- Exceptionalleadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strongfinancial literacy and experience managing large budgets.
- Willingnessto travel extensively and work across international time zones.
Fluent in English; additional languages(Mandarin, French, Italian, or Spanish) are a plus.
