As a Manager, Tactical Sourcing within the Corporate Procurement team, you’ll play a key role in driving efficient and compliant sourcing activities across Singtel. You’ll handle low-value purchases with precision, conduct due diligence to ensure adherence to procurement policies, and support Strategic Sourcing and Category Managers in high-value projects. This is a dynamic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong knowledge of procurement processes, and is confident in sourcing indirect and IT commodities. You'll also have the chance to contribute to system enhancement initiatives and collaborate with peer procurement teams to uncover cost-saving opportunities, optimize supplier consolidation, and manage tail-end spend—making a real impact on the company’s procurement transformation.

Make an Impact by:
  • Participate in the team’s agenda to execute tactical sourcing strategies across the organization; ensure coherent supplier selection, sourcing decisions and product development
  • Report cost savings using established cost savings methodologies
  • Drive monthly portfolio reporting and review with strategic sourcing managers, for their overall category planning
  • Liaise with Strategic Sourcing/Category Managers and highlight any concerns observed in the tactical sourcing space, to ensure alignment with broader strategy
  • Accountable for escalations while offering recommendations for effective solutions
  • Conduct reviews for opportunity in consolidation and strategies within the team’s purview
  • Ensure compliance with internal requirements and procurement market practices
  • Initiate and sustain effective communication on sourcing goals with key users
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Guide business users on procurement policy and practice
Skills for Success:
  • Degree in business/finance from a reputable university
  • Minimum of 4-5 years’ hands‑on experience in sourcing and procurement, with a solid grasp of the end-to-end source‑to‑pay process.
  • Successfully managed high volumes of spot‑buys, Invitations to Quote (ITQs), and Requests for Quotation (RFQs), demonstrating both speed and accuracy in execution
  • Familiar with sourcing platforms like Ariba, Emptoris, Coup
  • Strong communication, influencing, collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work efficiently.
