Job description

Job responsibilities

Support in the sustainability framework development to demonstrate and operate sustainability commitment, governance and KPI.

Drive sustainability projects and initiatives to ensure completion and achieve the intended outcome.

Support sustainability external reporting in compliance to IFRS reporting and climate reporting to disclosure sustainability commitment, direction, performance, and achievement to stakeholders through the company's website, quarterly result report and annual report, ESG ratings, BursaLink ESG Platform and Bursa CSI Platform.

Support sustainability internal reporting for Management Sustainability Committee and Board Risk Committee meetings.

Plan, allocate, and substantiate resources for managing ESG risks, climate-related exposures, and climate-centric investments, while assessing their financial implications.

Drive Sustainability activities to reach out to internal stakeholders including employees in order to increase awareness and understanding on ESG initiatives.

Drive stakeholder engagement to address stakeholder concerns and expectation.

Keep the management team informed of emerging sustainability trends, evolving guidelines, and regulatory requirements, and develop a tailored action plan—including initiatives in Sustainable Finance—to address them.

Job requirement

Possess a minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science and any/or related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Sustainability, Business Strategy, Corporate Planning and/or related field.

Experience in financial institutions or reputable companies is an added advantage.
