Job summary

A financial institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced leader to head the Non-Retail modelling team, developing Credit Models for the Commercial and Corporate portfolio. Candidates must have over 7 years in Banking or related fields, demonstrating strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with various departments. Job description
Responsibilities

Lead the Non-Retail modelling team in the development of Credit Models for Commercial and Corporate portfolio.

Lead projects related to Credit Analytics and Reporting functions and responsibilities

Work closely with vendors and other users from related Departments/Units in implementing the models.

Prepare monthly Credit Scoring Report for submission to MRCC/BRC.

Lead the identification, monitoring and resolving credit issues in the development/ enhancement of new/ current models

Lead the Facility Risk Rating implementation, monitoring and reporting.

Review and where necessary, enhance existing policies, guidelines and manuals which relates to Credit functions.

Carry out any duty or ad-hoc assignment assigned by Head of the Division / the Bank’s Senior Management and the Board from time to time

Ensure adherence and compliance to all internal policies/guidelines and external regulatory requirements.

Any other duties/assignment as and when directed/assigned by the superior as per business requirement from time to time.

Qualifications

Degree in Finance / Banking / Accountancy, Business Studies / Administration / Management, Statistic, Economics or any related disciplines.

More than 7 years experience of Banking and/or any related working experience.

Strong analytical skill. Have a strong interest in analysis works and focus on details

Be an assertive and innovative team player, highly independent, committed, self-motivated, resourceful and result-oriented

Ability to network across a variety of functions at various levels and countries

Ability to multi-task, highly numerate with great attention to detail

Willing and prepared to learn new things
