Job description
Manager, Risk Management Technology Venture & Investment Division

Responsible for managing, monitoring, control and coordinating risks and issues for NIISe project. Ensure the risks and issues are precise and clearly understood, communicated to the owner and finally monitor steps taken to resolve the action plans.

Perform risk analysis, evaluations and assessments, monitor risk management processes and implementation, work with internal and external parties and work closely with risk owners from various contractors and stakeholder.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Risk and Issue Management Workstream.
  • Manage, guide and advise the Workstream Risk and Issue team throughout the systems implementation project.
  • Works closely with project teams from various organization to make sure the risks and issues are being escalated to the right owner, the action plan being taken and solved by the respective owner.
  • Works collaboratively with other project teams, proactively engage, discuss and coordinate with the project team to understand the project situation and status in order to identify the potential risk concerns and issues raised.
  • Identify, analyze and evaluate the potential risk and issue project reported.
  • Ensure risk/ issue management is implemented in accordance with established processes.
  • Review, evaluate and monitor the progress of reported risks/ issues.
  • Review, evaluate and recommend the Risk Management/ Issue and Control Report (monthly) to the Client in accordance with the specifications that have been set.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
  • Conduct the monthly JKPRI meeting and report risk and issue project status accordingly.
  • Proven experience in managing change requests and contracts for government IT project with a minimum 10 years related experience.
Qualifications

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2, ITIL, TOGAF will be an added advantage.

  • Project Management (Integrated, Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Resource, Risk, Communication, Procurement, Stakeholder): Experience with project management best practices/ methodologies/ project lifecycle.
  • Project Management Software: Experience/ knowledge with project management software such as Microsoft Project Plan or Project Management Information System.
  • Risk Management: Experience with risk management best practices/ methodologies/ project lifecycle.
  • Problem-solving: Possess problem-solving skills, with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Innovative: A passion for innovation and a desire to drive positive change through data-driven decision-making.
  • Communication Skills: Proficient in Bahasa Melayu and English, especially in interpersonal communication and report writing.
