Job Description

This role is based in our Menara Skymindoffice.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Research Operations to lead a high performing team of data‑focused research analysts. This role is critical in driving operational excellence by optimizing data acquisition, sourcing, processing, and collection methodologies. You will ensure the successful, on‑time delivery of high‑quality, centralized data deliverables while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of Research Operations analysts, ensuring expertise in data acquisition, sourcing, processing, and collection. Foster a culture of data‑driven decision‑making, critical thinking, and continuous improvement.
  • Design and implement resource optimization strategies, including a capabilities decision matrix, to ensure the team’s skills evolve to meet changing business demands.
  • Oversee the delivery of high‑quality, differentiated data projects that provide essential inputs for research and consulting deliverables. Standardize workflows, process maps, and training to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Data Architecture and Engineering team to ensure seamless integration with centralized data storage platforms and support platform optimization.
  • Partner with Research & Data teams to plan, coordinate, and execute data deliverables, ensuring consistent delivery of high‑impact insights.
  • Work with the Research & Analytics Leadership team to define and execute a team strategy focused on recruitment, development, engagement, and training.
  • Refine operational processes in partnership with Operations Leadership, optimizing quality, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness. Monitor and assess key KPIs to ensure alignment with business goals.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing teams focused on data acquisition, sourcing, processing, and collection, with a strong understanding of data centralization and integration with storage platforms.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across research, data, and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with data tools, platforms, and technologies, with the ability to guide the team in handling data‑related tasks effectively.
  • Experience in performance measurement and resource management, including setting KPIs, tracking productivity, and capacity planning.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple data‑driven projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • A data‑savvy mindset with a blend of operational and technical expertise.
