Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the entire contract management lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance contract efficiency, reduce risks, and optimize vendor relationships.
• Negotiate terms with stakeholders, vendors, and subsidiaries to secure advantageous and transparent agreements.
• Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to review and approve contract terms and conditions.
• Monitor contract performance through KPIs and enforce compliance, identifying and mitigating risks and resolving disputes effectively.
• Foster a high-performing, collaborative contract management team culture.
• Continuously improve contract management practices and stay current with best practices, tools, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in contract management, preferably within the property development or real estate industry.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying with proven expertise in cost management, contracts, and project delivery across contractor, consultant, and developer settings.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams including contract managers, legal experts, procurement specialists, and vendor relationship managers.
• Experience in construction, property development/management, and fund investment is an advantage.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and oral).
• Highly motivated and able to work as a team.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• High integrity.
• Excellent attention to detail and contract review skills to identify risks, opportunities, and compliance issues.
