Overview
This role is responsible for overseeing the execution phase of projects, ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and timely delivery without compromising quality and safety. This role requires a hands-on approach in coordinating on-site activities, managing contractors, achieving scheduled Stage Billings, and ensuring compliance with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. The role also involves proactive risk mitigation, problem-solving, and effective stakeholder communication to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement detailed project execution plans to ensure adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
- Monitor daily progress and milestones, identifying any potential deviations from the project schedule.
- Coordinate with Project Planning & Development (PPD) to ensure design feasibility and constructability.
- Supervise and manage on-site construction activities, ensuring work is executed in accordance with specifications and safety standards.
- Oversee contractors, suppliers, and specialist trades to ensure timely, high-quality performance.
- Verify progress claims and ensure contractor billings align with actual site progress.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Identify and rectify construction defects, material discrepancies, and workmanship issues.
- Ensure adherence to CIDB, OSHA, and local authority regulations.
- Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies to prevent project delays.
- Resolve on-site technical issues and disputes swiftly to maintain work progress.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed and that all team members comply with HSE guidelines.
- Provide structured progress updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure seamless collaboration between site teams, consultants, and project planners.
- Address concerns raised by authorities, consultants, and clients to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Assist in budget preparation, cost tracking, and value engineering to optimize project expenditures.
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources (manpower, materials, equipment) to prevent waste.
- Verify progress claims and variation orders to ensure financial accuracy.

- Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance – Working knowledge of building codes, CIDB, OSHA, and BCA regulations.
- Risk & Safety Management – Implementation of HSE best practices, safety audits, and site risk assessments.
- Team Leadership – Ability to guide engineers, site supervisors, and contractors towards common goals.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Ability to anticipate site challenges and implement effective solutions.

- Project Management Software: Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
- BIM & Digital Engineering: Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.

Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2), Construction Safety (CIDB, OSHA), or Quality Management (CIDB, QLASSIC) are an advantage.
- Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, site supervision, and contractor coordination within construction or property development.
- Hands-on experience managing high-rise, township, and industrial park developments.
- Proven track record of handling on-site challenges and driving quality outcomes.
