Currently, they are seeking an experienced Planning & Design Manager to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Plays a pivotal role in shaping the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our properties, driving excellence in design innovation and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the development of conceptual designs for new residential and commercial properties within agreed timelines.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to create innovative and feasible design concepts.
  • Ensure that designs align with the company's vision, objectives, and budget constraints, emphasizing creativity and functionality.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for proposed projects to optimize design solutions.
  • Feasibility Study & Project Timeline Management:
    • Establish design timelines, including progression and submission to authorities.
    • Assist in preparing feasibility studies for potential new land acquisitions, focusing on design-driven opportunities.
    • Explore product compositions to optimize marketability and financial returns, emphasizing innovative design solutions.
  • Authority Approvals Coordination:
    • Liaise and coordinate with local government authorities and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits, approvals, and licenses.
    • Ensure compliance with all local laws, zoning regulations, and building codes, prioritizing design integrity and sustainability.
  • Drawing Coordination & Compliance:
    • Ensure all design drawings align with the company's standards and objectives, emphasizing creativity and adherence to design briefs.
    • Manage design deliverables throughout the process, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budget constraints.
    • Ensure tender drawings adhere to design briefs, standard specifications, and authority guidelines, focusing on design-driven solutions.
  • Contractual Documentation Preparation:
    • Verify share unit areas and ensure compliance with PTG guidelines/requirements, emphasizing design accuracy and integrity.
    • Ensure drawings and specifications for scale models and brochures comply with authority guidelines, showcasing innovative design features.
  • Research & Development:
    • Conduct research and development initiatives to enhance product quality and incorporate the latest materials and technologies, with a focus on innovative design solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Town Planning, Building/Architecture, or Business & Management with knowledge of Planning, Design, and UBBL 1986 or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar capacity, with a focus on design-driven planning and development.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project timelines effectively, prioritizing design excellence.
