Job summary

A leading brewery in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Planned Maintenance Manager to lead its maintenance execution team. This role requires a strong leader with at least a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of maintenance planning experience. Looking hands‑on and experienced Planned Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance execution team and ensure world‑class reliability, safety, and performance across all production assets.
You’ll play a key role in driving technical excellence, developing people capability, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement through TPM, 5S, and structured maintenance practices.

In this role you will:
  • Ensure all maintenance activities and legal tasks are executed safely and on time.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance jobs with quality and efficiency.
  • Manage the work preparation room, tagging, and emergency material readiness.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of technicians; manage performance, skills, and certifications.
  • Coordinate effective handovers between maintenance, operations, and planning teams.
  • Optimize preventive maintenance routines (CILT, PM tasks, overhauls).
  • Implement 5S, Visual Management, and structured fault‑finding across teams.
  • Drive root cause analysis (RCFA) and support autonomous maintenance initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate CMMS data entry and closure for all maintenance activities.
  • Track and use maintenance KPIs (MTTR, job productivity) to improve performance.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
  • Minimum 10 years in maintenance planning and execution.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role with strong people management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of 5S, TPM, and autonomous maintenance.
  • Proficient in CMMS and maintenance workflow management.
  • Experienced in organizing CILT, PM tasks, and managing work preparation rooms.
