A leading banking group in Malaysia is looking for a qualified finance professional to support management reporting and enhance financial analysis. This role involves preparing financial information for the Board, liaising with business unit heads, and performing gap analysis for regulations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance, 4-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, and good analytical skills. Timely preparation of business analysis and management reporting deliverables to the Head of Finance.
Support the Head of Finance in providing insightful business analysis and strategies.
Lead a deep dive into margin analysis for better understanding of financial performance and to support sales and product strategies.
Timely and accurate submission of reporting to internal/external stakeholders.
Provide timely and accurate financial information and analytical support to business units to facilitate business decisions.
Proper management of the overall external and internal audit processes.
Enhance the overall efficiency of the management reporting team.
Automate processes with clear evidence in cost savings.
Independently prepare good quality presentation decks for the Board and other stakeholders (ad hoc) that are precise...with minimal guidance and corrections post review.
Perform gap analysis for new / revised SC regulations.
Lead the annual CMSL renewal tasks and ensure it is done precisely and in a timely manner.
Independently handle the Management Forum secretariat role and prepare well‑written minutes precisely and in a timely manner.
Contributes positively by actively sharing information and listening and accepting other’s viewpoints. Assists/supports team members to contribute to team efforts and to achieve team goals.
Evaluates current work practices and identifies areas where improvement is needed.
Keep abreast of regulatory guideline requirements affecting the industry and its impacts, review and update internal policies/procedures as appropriate.
