The ideal candidate will have hands‑on engineering experience, strong familiarity with maintenance strategies (TPM, RCM, CBM, Predictive), and proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a continuous manufacturing environment.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5–7 years of maintenance/engineering experience in manufacturing; RTA or board manufacturing experience is an advantage.
- Proven leadership experience in managing multi‑skilled engineering teams.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC systems, hydraulic presses, pneumatic systems, PLC‑controlled equipment, and industrial automation.
- Familiar with TPM, RCM, CBM, and Predictive Maintenance tools (vibration, thermal, ultrasonic).
- Strong understanding of ISO management systems (9001/14001/45001/50001).
- Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and machine schematics.
- Experience with CMMS/MES/ERP system utilization for maintenance planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop engineering and maintenance teams to strengthen technical skills and preventive/predictive maintenance capabilities.
- Implement preventive, predictive, and RCM programs to ensure safe, reliable machine performance and minimize downtime.
- Manage installation, commissioning, improvement, and life‑cycle enhancement of CNC machines, presses, panel saws, and production equipment using appropriate PdM tools.
- Establish effective rapid‑response processes and provide advanced troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Ensure availability of critical spares through BOM, MTBF, and risk‑based planning while managing suppliers and OEM service teams.
- Drive energy optimization, cost‑reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts to increase OEE and reduce breakdowns.
- Maintain engineering documentation, downtime records, and KPIs aligned with ISO standards and EHS compliance.
- Manage CAPEX/OPEX budgets, optimize resource utilization, and evaluate maintenance projects and equipment upgrades based on ROI.
