Job summary

A leading insurance company is seeking a Manager for the Group B40 team specializing in Data and Reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing mySalam data processes, maintaining robotic process automation, and providing insightful analysis and training to improve efficiencies. Suitable applicants should have at least 5 years of experience in the Takaful or Insurance industry, possess strong data management skills, and communicate effectively in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

Manager, Group B40 - Data and Reporting (GETB)
  • Facilitate mySalam data-related matters.
  • Prepare mySalam internal, external, regulatory, and ad-hoc reports.
  • Provide insight and analysis to improve mySalam processes and deliveries to the public through company directives and initiatives.

Job Description:

  • Perform end-to-end mySalam data management, including importing, data massaging, and uploading with zero errors.
  • Maintain and implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA) on mySalam processes.
  • Provide periodic reports and analysis on claims experience, efficiency, and productivity of mySalam crew and staff, claims performance, and action plans to improve key findings.
  • Implement insights and analysis to improve mySalam processes and deliveries.
  • Provide training and workshops to the mySalam team on how to improve team deliveries based on analysis and findings.
  • Provide support to the Scheme Development and Operation team as needed without compromising key tasks.

Job Specification:

  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Takaful/Insurance industry.
  • Experience in robotic process automation.
  • Good knowledge of the Takaful and/or Insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong data management, data processing, and analytics skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Positive attitude and a good team player.
