Job description
Overview

Objective: To assist and support Cost Management General Manager in monitoring, controlling and optimizing costs across a company or project.

Responsibilities
  • Product feasibility study, localization and cost estimation.
  • Assist in developing cost models and scenario analysis.
  • Track actual cost against quoted price and investigate variances.
  • Provide training or guidance to junior staff on cost processes.
  • Standardize cost control procedures across departments or projects.
  • Technical liaison with external providers and customers.
  • Involve and support in cost-saving activities.
  • Promote and enforce safety and health regulations in working environment.
  • Coordinate the activities of internal audit.
  • Ensure ISO 9001 quality system is implemented and maintained in the Department.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Manufacturing/Industrial
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in cost management or pricing analysis for a managerial role.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (e.g., vlookup, sumproduct) is advantageous.
  • Capabilities: Strong analytical and numerical skills; attention to detail and good organizational skills.
