Job summary

A leading energy company is looking for a qualified candidate with over 15 years of experience in Offshore Platform Construction and strong project management skills. Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and have extensive knowledge of quality control and schedule management. Familiarity with international codes and standards in the Oil & Gas industry is crucial. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently while managing contractors towards project goals.

Job description

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree in Civil is advantage but not necessary.
• Professional certificate by accredited Bodies/ Associations is an advantage but not necessary.

Work Experiences

• Minimum of 15 years direct experience in Offshore Platform Construction, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning works and including experience in CPP EPC/EPCI/EPCIC Construction project.
• Must have Work Experiences in both Client side (with major O&G Companies) and EPC Contractor side (with major Offshore EPC Contractors)

Desired Competency (Skills and Abilities)

• Must have extensive knowledge & experience in Construction of Offshore Platforms, and including quality control, schedule control and project management.
• Familiar with international codes and standards related to Manufacturing/Fabrication, Installation and Quality Standards in Oil & Gas industry and also related local regulations.
• Familiar with PTTEP or TOTAL Specifications is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination and organizing skills with ability to work with minimal supervision and liaise effectively and efficiently with other team members and outside stakeholders.
• Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and integrity.
• Contractor Management skills with strong personality and able to drive EPC Contractor toward project goals.
