Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets, both short-term and long-term.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate clients, group bookings, and partnerships with event planners, travel agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, industry partners, and key decision-makers.
  • Identify and negotiate partnerships, affiliations, and collaborations that can enhance the hotel's business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to showcase the hotel's value proposition.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts and pricing agreements with clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with revenue management teams to maximize room rates and occupancy levels.
  • Maintain detailed records of business development activities, track progress against targets, and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve objectives.
  • Ensure excellent customer service for all clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, potential opportunities, and competitors' activities. Develop a deep understanding of the target market.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, marketing, or a related field is typically preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development or sales roles, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Previous experience in the hospitality industry is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the local language and English. Additional languages may be an advantage, especially in international markets.
