Manager / Assistant Manager - Front Desk Concierge (Shopping Mall)

We are seeking a highly service-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager / Manager to support the daily operations of our mall's Front Desk & Concierge services. You will ensure our shoppers, tenants, and VIP guests receive exceptional, personalized service that rivals a five-star hotel experience, acting as the primary ambassador for our mall.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm welcome and professional assistance to all mall visitors; handle inquiries regarding mall facilities, store locations, promotions, and events with a hospitality mindset.
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Assist in supervising the front desk concierge team. Train team members on service protocols, grooming standards, and effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Oversee the daily setup and upkeep of the concierge desk. Manage concierge procedures, feedback collection, and prepare daily service reports to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support mall campaigns and events, ensuring concierge readiness during peak periods.
  • Act as a point of contact during minor incidents, providing calm and efficient support in line with mall security protocols.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a front office, guest services or concierge role within a hotel (4-5 star preferred) or a high-end retail / service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work well in a team and multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to communicate in Mandarin an advantage.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with mall operations and customer service best practices.
  • Comfortable with shift work, weekends and public holidays.
