Job summary

A leading cold storage company in Kuching is looking for an individual to assist the Deputy CEO with strategic initiatives, including business planning and performance tracking. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2-3 years of experience in business management. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential, along with a good command of English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia. The role offers a competitive salary of RM5K and above based on qualifications and experience.

Job description

Responsibilities: To assist the Deputy CEO with strategic initiatives, including business planning, performance tracking and decision‑making processes; to conduct research on industry trends, competitor strategies and internal performance metrics to provide insights that inform business decisions; to draft presentations, reports and communication materials; to provide administrative and logistical support for the Deputy CEO’s office, including managing schedules, preparing meeting agendas and handling confidential information.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management/Economics or equivalent.
  • Relevant 2-3 years working experience in business management, project management or similar field. Project management experience is a plus. Salary RM5K and above depending on the qualification and experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with the ability to create professional reports and presentations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Good command of English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
