Job Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facilities to ensure minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and carry out regular inspections to identify potential issues.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines or equipment modifications.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repair logs, and spare parts usage.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimize equipment-related disruptions.
• Assist in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Chargeman License (A4/A0 or relevant) is preferred.
• 3-5 years of working experience in equipment/maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting PLC, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Good teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Willing to work in shifts or respond to emergency breakdowns when required.

Working hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5.30pm
Salary: Up to RM5000
