Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, inspect and maintain all assigned machinery and equipment to ensure continuous optimum operation.
• Carry out preventive, predictive and routine maintenance tasks in accordance to Preventive Maintenance program, instruction and maintenance schedules, or as and when requested by superiors.
• Be accountable for all common tools and equipment by practicing 5S and good housekeeping, exercising systematic management of tools and equipment.
• Take immediate remedial actions and/or highlight to superiors of any abnormalities or any unusual or likely occurrence in equipment and machineries encountered during repairs work or routine inspections.
• Practice and adhere to all safety policies, procedures, guidelines and practices including work permit systems, Personal Protective Equipment requirements, Confined Space, isolation procedures, etc.
• Respond to and follow-up on emergency or unplanned maintenance or repair jobs when needed in the most prompt and efficient manner.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably 2-3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in equipment maintenance (rotating and static).
• Knowledge of AutoCad and CMMS is an added advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
