Job summary

A global leader in laser technology seeks a skilled technician to oversee equipment uptime in Ipoh, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will hold a diploma in engineering, preferably in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical disciplines, and be willing to work flexible 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities include tracking spare parts, collaborating with engineering teams, and maintaining safety and compliance with ISO standards. Qualifications

• Diploma of Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical.
• Experience in die attached machines and wire bonders is an added advantage.
• Willing to work on 12-hour shifts and solve basic technical issues.
• Experience in high mix and high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with a hands-on working attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment uptime in Front of Line machines & fixtures.
• Track and replenish spare parts; update as necessary.
• Collaborate with automation and engineering teams for equipment releases.
• Emphasize safety to ensure zero accidents.
• Maintain records in compliance with ISO requirements.
