A leading manufacturing company in Seberang Perai is looking for a dedicated maintenance technician to carry out preventive maintenance and ensure optimal machine performance. The ideal candidate should have a certificate in electrical engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include rectifying machine problems, participating in project installations, and maintaining safety compliance. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work approach. Candidates must be computer literate and possess their own transport.

Qualifications

• Minimum certificate in electrical engineering, preferably Chargeman certified.
• At least 3 years of experience in maintenance/electrical activities.
• Computer literate and must possess own transport.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To carry out preventive maintenance according to schedule set.
• To rectify machine, equipment problem and ensure minimum downtime.
• To ensure machines are in good working condition for running.
• To report to superior on machine problems and do recommendation for machine upgrade for efficiency.
• To ensure factory equipment is qualify for JKKP permit renewal and other safety equipment are well maintained.
• To involve in new machine project installation and ensure the project is completed in a successful manner.
• To ensure maintenance housekeeping is carry out and strong focus on safety for both the machine and the workplace.
• Maintain accurate records/report of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Adherence to all EHS protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and testing of fire protection systems.
• To ensure all data and document updated and compile in systems.
• Ready for on-call or stay back for urgency issue.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned within maintenance department scope.

Qualifications

• Minimum certificate in electrical engineering, prefer Chargeman with certificate from EC.
• At least 3 years working experience in maintenance/electrical activities.
• Self-motivated with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Computer literate & possess own transport.
• Familiar with fire protection and fighting equipment and systems.
• Attitude require - Team player, problem solving mindset, attention to detail, proactive approach & ability to work under pressure.
