Job description

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all aspects of plant production machinery and equipment service and maintenance activities, e.g. converting maintenance process notification to work order for the action needed.
• Be responsible in TPM to keep all required documents updated – for ISO 9001 QMS standard requirement.
• Assist to liaise with the external vendor for machinery and equipment maintenance related issues for the betterment in relation to reduce downtime and cost.
• Assist to coordinate with planning and production department on machinery and equipment breakdown issues, based on priority to meet product on-time delivery to the customer.
• Provide feedback to department head on service, maintenance and calibration matters.
• Participate in task force related to safety, housekeeping, product development / root cause analysis and others.
• Motivate all subordinates in all aspects affecting their work and performance, company’s rules and regulations.
• Design and troubleshoot using PLC knowledge (Siemens Tia Portal/Step 5/Omron/Mitsubishi troubleshooting).
• Troubleshoot and solve DC Drives, inverters, sensors, control wiring, and reading electrical drawing problems.
• Handle and report daily breakdowns and conduct root cause analysis.
• Experience using SAP for maintenance-related transactions.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the superior.
