Job summary

A leading logistics firm in Malaysia is searching for a Warehouse Operations Lead. Responsibilities include overseeing inventory management, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound processes, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations and possess knowledge of warehouse management systems and health & safety practices. Collaboration with team members at all levels is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess at least an SPM, Certificate, or Diploma.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse field operations.
  • Knowledgeable in leading warehouse tasks involving inbound/outbound, picking & packing, and inventory counting.

  • Perform receiving, checking, sorting, and putting away of all new items and collections inbound.

Job description
What You’ll Do
  • Lead in charge of inventory management, and responsible for all the items at warehouse storage locations
  • To receive, check, sort, repalletize and putaway of all the new items and collections inbound
  • Do picking process based on picking list provided by data team and place the items at transit point
  • To practice and adhere to FIFO with expiry date on sampling goods or props
  • To monitor sampling goods & props level, condition, and availability
  • Work with Supervisor if stocks, props quantity or quality level are not complete
  • Update detail receiving process according to expired date, quantity against Goods Receive Note (GRN), take photo to update system and stamp as a acknowledge
  • Highlight to Supervisor on spoilt or soiled items collected and complete sorting collection from central & regional branch within 48 hours
  • Complete the monthly stock take/cycle count on all sampling goods and props by project and verify quantity if have variant to maintain accurate data
  • Reject / dispose of all products & materials that fail to meet expectations according client approval
  • Ensure the warehouse area is always clean with empty cartons boxes, plastic wrappings are to be properly disposed and make sure sampling goods and props are palletized and stored in a hazard free manner
  • Perform other related duties as well as assist other departments when required
What We’re Looking For
  • Candidates are required to possess at least an SPM, Certificate, or Diploma

  • Knowledgeable in leading warehouse tasks involving inbound/outbound, picking & packing and inventory counting, MHE handling, health & safety, etc
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization
