A logistics and freight solutions provider based in Subang Jaya seeks an experienced Operations Manager. The role involves overseeing end-to-end sea and air freight operations, managing warehouse functionality, and ensuring compliance with logistics standards. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in logistics, be skilled in Mandarin for coordination with suppliers, and possess strong leadership and organizational abilities. Offered salary is between RM10,000-RM11,000, plus bonuses and allowances.

Oversee all export and import sea freight processes, including booking, shipment planning, cargo consolidation, and documentation.
Ensure timely issuance and checking of BL, SI, DO, COO, packing lists, manifests, and customs documents.
Coordinate vessel schedules and ensure space/slot availability with shipping lines.
Ensure optimal coordination between sea freight, warehouse, and trucking teams to achieve smooth and efficient operations.
Reduce operational delays, minimize D&D, and improve container turnaround efficiency.
Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, stuffing, unstuffing, and loading.
Ensure proper cargo handling, inventory accuracy, labelling, and safety compliance.
Monitor stock levels, damage reports, and warehouse KPI performance.
Coordinate with warehouse supervisors and ensure manpower planning for peak operations.
Oversee shipment tracking systems to ensure real-time updates from port to warehouse to final delivery.
Ensure customers and internal teams receive accurate and timely movement updates.
Monitor container movements, ETD/ETA changes, port congestion, and potential delays.
Liaise closely with shipping lines, port authorities, customs, transporters, and warehouse partners.
Handle negotiation for freight rates, free time, container availability, and service commitments.
Resolve operational issues such as demurrage, detention, port delays, or documentation discrepancies.
Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, port rules, maritime laws, and dangerous goods procedures.
Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sea freight, warehouse, and delivery operations.
Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance across all operational touchpoints.
Lead and mentor teams across sea freight, customer service, warehouse, and documentation departments.
Conduct performance reviews, training, and coaching to build a high-performing operations team.
Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Monitor operational costs including warehouse charges, transport fees, D&D, freight rates, and handling costs.
Implement cost‑saving strategies without compromising service quality.
Analyze KPIs such as on‑time delivery, warehouse productivity, shipment accuracy, container turnaround times, etc.
Provide timely and professional updates to clients regarding shipment status, changes, and delays.
Assist with escalated issues related to cargo loss, delays, damage, or documentation.
Work with sales to support pricing, customer onboarding, and service expectations.
