Job summary

A logistics solutions provider in Selangor seeks a Logistics Coordinator to manage international shipments and import/export compliance. Responsibilities include optimizing shipping processes, supporting logistical design, and enhancing performance metrics. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field, excellent Mandarin and English communication skills, and 1-3 years of logistics experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. This position is on-site in Pulau Indah, Selangor.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in international logistics and import/export procedures.
  • Strong ability to communicate in Mandarin and English.
  • Familiarity with Customs operations and HS codes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all international shipments to ensure timely transportation.
  • Ensure compliance with government policies in import/export processes.
  • Implement solutions for identified shipping issues.
  • Enhance shipment traceability and generate performance reports.

Job description

Manage all international shipments, including planning, execution, and delivery to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.

Manage import and export processes and ensure compliance with all required government policies and licensing regulations.

Identify shipping issues and implement solutions promptly, and suggest solutions for shipping process optimization.

Supports the design and implementation of Logistical Solutions Works with other team members to develop alternative solutions.

Enhance the shipment traceability performance, generate reports, and perform data-driven decisions.

Examine various documents such as costing files, invoices & another related shipping documents.

Any ad-hoc tasks to be assigned.

Job Requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Good understanding of import & export procedures, Customs operation and HS codes knowledge.
  • 1-3 years of experience in international logistics with Free Trade Zone/LNW. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin & English, as the role requires communicating frequently with the China logistics team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel (familiar with intermediate skills such as Pivot Table, Vlookup) and PowerPoint.
  • Applicants must be able to work in our office in Pulau Indah, Selangor.
