A logistics firm in Port Klang seeks a Warehouse Operations role, requiring a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields and at least 1 year of experience in warehouse/logistics operations. Key responsibilities include managing inventory accuracy, document preparation, and coordinating vendor relations. Perform daily picking, packing, labelling, and staging of spare parts based on order requests.
Ensure correct part number, quantity, and condition before delivery/dispatch.
Support inbound receiving activities such as unloading, checking, and put‑away.
Maintain proper storage, arrangement, and cleanliness of spare parts areas.
Work closely with vendor warehouse personnel to align daily operation flow and priorities.
Follow up on vendor handling for receiving, storage, picking and dispatch arrangements.
Coordinate issue resolution for stock mismatch, missing items, damaged parts, or urgent requests.
Ensure vendor compliance with agreed SOP, safety rules, and inventory handling standards.
Conduct cycle counts, stock checks, and periodic audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
Monitor stock movement and update records promptly in system/manual tracker.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Support stock replenishment planning and coordinate with Purchasing for order management.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation (GRN, DO, packing list, stock records).
Update daily/weekly warehouse operation tracking (picking performance, backlog, stock issues).
Prepare logistics and inventory reports for management review.
Coordinate delivery arrangement with internal transport / courier / vendor transport team.
Track delivery status and follow up on delays, incomplete delivery, or damages.
Support urgent delivery requests when required.
Ensure all activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and vendor site rules.
Follow safety procedures and ensure proper handling of electronic parts.
Suggest improvements to warehouse layout, picking method, labelling, and stock control process.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse/logistics operations (spare parts handling is preferred).
Familiar with picking/packing process and inventory control practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Knowledge of SAP / ERP / WMS is an advantage.
