Job summary

A leading packaging company in Malaysia is seeking a skilled logistics coordinator. Responsibilities include managing the arrangement and quality of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring FIFO practices, and maintaining safety stock levels. Candidates should have at least an SPM or equivalent qualification along with 2 years of relevant experience. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or 2 years working experience in related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in equivalent field.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper arrangement and identification of raw material and finished goods.
• Ensure practice of first-in-first-out (FIFO) and organize storage.
• Maintain safety stock level and notify management if necessary.
• Regular execution of cycle count and stock take activities.
• Implement warehouse and logistic control system.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper arrangement and identification of raw material and finished goods, etc.
• Responsible for maintaining the quality of raw materials and finished goods, etc. with proper handling and storage.
• Ensure practice of first-in-first-out (FIFO) and organize storage area by maximizing storage capacity for raw material and finished goods.
• Maintain safety stock level, avoid exceeding maximum stock level, and notify management for corrective action if necessary.
• Regular execution of cycle count and stock take activities.
• Coordinate and monitor all incoming raw material and outgoing finished goods.
• Arrange, check, and update all daily incoming and outgoing goods.
• Implement the warehouse and logistic control system to ensure the smooth flow of raw material and finished goods.
• Record and update daily logistic control system as needed.
• Arrange and handle daily filling.
• Ensure the 5S practice is fully implemented at all times.
• Assist the head of department (HOD) or assistant logistic & warehouse manager in logistics and warehouse operations for relevant departments and subsidiaries.
• Any other tasks assigned by superior or management.
