Responsibilities
- Safely transport vehicles, spare parts, and automotive equipment to designated locations.
- Assist in moving vehicles within company premises (showrooms, workshops, warehouses).
- Ensure punctual pick-up and delivery according to schedules.
- Support logistics operations such as loading/unloading, stock movement, and delivery documentation.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, proof of delivery (POD), and related paperwork.
- Coordinate with the sales team on delivery schedules, route planning, and inventory handling.
- Perform daily vehicle cleaning, including car wash, vacuuming, and basic detailing.
- Ensure showroom/demo vehicles are kept clean, polished, and presentable for customers.
- Report any damages, scratches, or technical issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations, company SOPs, and safety guidelines.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspection (battery level, tires, lights, and general roadworthiness).
- Follow safe handling practices for vehicles, spare parts, and equipment.
- Collect and deliver important documents (e.g., JPJ, Puspakom, insurance, loan agreements, approved permit).
- Submit and collect applications, renewals, or approvals at government offices (JPJ, Puspakom etc.).
- Handle payments for road tax, insurance, and other fees.
- Ensure punctuality and accuracy in all deliveries and collections.
- Report any issues related to vehicles, documents, or operations to the supervisor.
- Support other staff with ad-hoc tasks when required.
Qualifications
- Valid driving license (appropriate class for cars and light commercial vehicles).
- Proven experience as a driver or logistics assistant, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and road safety regulations.
- Ability to lift and move automotive parts and equipment when required.
- Good communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or on-call if required.
- Experience in automotive logistics, delivery, or fleet management.
- Familiarity with warehouse management or inventory systems.
