Job description
Purpose Statement

The Logistics - Analyst I is responsible for supporting logistics operational excellence and solutions that reduce transport costs for Plexus' manufacturing sites, by actively participating in logistics initiatives that ensure efficient product movement, both internationally and domestically.

Key Job Accountabilities
  • Analyze transport analysis activities that drive operational changes that reduce transport cost including but not limited managing routing guide compliance, minimizing premium freight usage, better utilization of equipment, optimal mode selection and analysis of alternative routing methods.
  • Support Regional/Site stakeholders and coordinate with suppliers and logistics service providers to track and expedite shipment to ensure on-time fulfillment, and supporting the creation and reconciliation of accurate material overhead (MOH) model for new and existing customers.
  • Support development and delivery of metrics / KPI's / dashboards. Participate in develop plans for continuous improvement flow of inbound / outbound materials between service providers and stakeholders. Proactively take action to promote timely delivery
  • Perform administrative duties as necessary to support daily operations and transport compliance.
  • Support Customs & Trade Management and ESG activities, as necessary
Education/Experience Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
Other Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage several projects at a time.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project are required.

Physical Requirements
  • Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
