Operations Loan Executive

The Operations Loan Executive is responsible for handling end-to-end loan processing activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves assessing loan applications, verifying customer documentation, coordinating disbursements, and supporting the collections team to ensure smooth operations in the loan life cycle.

  • Experience with Zendesk or similar customer support tools
  • Quick to adapt in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

1. Loan Processing

Review and verify loan applications and documents, prepare loan agreements, handle disbursements, and issue settlement letters upon loan closure.

2. Customer & Sales Support

Communicate with customers to collect missing documents, coordinate with the sales team to process applications, respond to inquiries via chat, WhatsApp, and email, and assist with KYC checks when required.

3. Compliance & Operations

Maintain accurate records of loan activities, ensure compliance with company policies and Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) regulations, assist with audit documentation, and handle LHDN stamping when required.

4. Disbursement & Repayment

Coordinate loan disbursements with the team, monitor repayments and report overdue accounts, prepare management reports, and manage loan closures, including waiving small outstanding balances when necessary.

5. General Support

Support daily tasks in the Loans Department, assist in improving work processes, and carry out other duties as assigned by the manager.
