An aviation company is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to supervise aircraft maintenance, inspection, and certification. Candidates must hold a B1.1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance License acceptable to CAAM Malaysia, with at least one year of signing experience. Responsibilities include ensuring work is completed on time, maintaining compliance with policies, and preparing necessary reports. To undertake and supervise the maintenance, inspection, servicing, repair, replacement, modification, rectification, and certification of aircraft in accordance with company and CAAM approved methods and procedures for on time serviceability of aircraft.
Role Purpose
To undertake and supervise the maintenance, inspection, servicing, repair, replacement, modification, rectification, and certification of aircraft in accordance with company and CAAM approved methods and procedures for on time serviceability of aircraft.
Key Accountability
To perform and to certify the maintenance, inspection, servicing, repair, replacement, modification, rectification, and certification on customers aircraft as per company, CAAM and other relevant aviation authority.
To understand on company objectives, policies, procedures, and instructions.
To comply the company operating policies and procedures
To update Lead Engineer Operations on the progress of the maintenance tasks/check.
To ensure the target tasks are completed within the time frame set by the Foreman Lead Engineer Operations.
To prepare accident/incident and occurrence report with necessary details when required.
To undertake the supervision of staff assigned under his/her zone and ensure that Technicians are assigned and sufficiently equipped with tools and technical manuals. To ensure that staff are briefed on the works to be delivered.
To raise Ground Equipment Component Repair Label (GECRL) for any discrepancy of defect on ground equipment used on aircraft.
To maintain good time keeping and discipline.
To carry out housekeeping after completion of each task and ensure unused spares are credited back (DNU) to store at the end of shift.
To maintain cleanliness in the working area, workstation, office, crew room and holding room.>
To ensure JET Toolbox are regularly maintained and associated records are updated.
To assist and advise the Lead Engineer Operations immediately on defects or potential problems which that will impact the progress and flow of aircraft maintenance activities.
To ensure the technical publication/documents used are up-to-date and to upkeep general condition of his/her zonal workstation.
To report any Safety Hazard in work area using safety Report form.
To perform other duties assigned by Lead Engineer Operations and his/her superiors.
Qualifications & Working Experience
Local Candidates: Holder of B1.1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance License acceptable to CAAM Malaysia and appropriate B1.1 or2 Company License from MAB Quality Assurance Department with minimum 1 year signing experience.
Foreign Candidates: Preferably to have CAAM license or holder of EASA license equivalent to B1.1 or B2 and eligible for validation by CAAM Malaysia.
Comprehensive knowledge of type rated aircraft systems and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
