This is a full-time Legal Officer role based in Kuching. The Legal Officer will be responsible for providing legal advice, reviewing and preparing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with applicable business, contract, and corporate laws.
In addition to legal advisory duties, the role will support and perform Company Secretarial functions for i-CATS University College, including ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, maintaining corporate records, and supporting governance processes.
Key responsibilities include legal consulting, assisting in contract drafting and negotiations, and providing guidance on a broad range of legal and governance matters. The Legal Officer will work closely with Management, the Board, and various departments to manage legal and corporate risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and align legal and governance practices with institutional objectives.
