Job description

Job Responsibility

• Experience in corporate transactions, M&A, joint ventures, investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Experience in real estate, structuring land deals, and developer-related transactions.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of corporate contracts, including memorandum of understanding, term sheets, joint venture agreements, shareholders' agreements, share sale agreements, subscription agreements, loan agreements, lease agreements, and other commercial agreements.
• Responsibilities include pre-contract negotiation, drafting and/or reviewing agreements, and following up on fulfillment of all conditions precedent until the transaction is completed.
• Liaising with external lawyers and providing follow-ups.
• Ability to balance legal considerations with commercial requirements in all assigned tasks and duties. Advice must be practical while ensuring the Company’s interests are protected and compliance with laws is maintained.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws and admission to the Malaysian Bar.
• At least 10 years of experience with a reputable law firm.
• Good command of English, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent drafting skills.
