Legal Responsibilities

Provide full-process legal support for local automobile sales business: Lead the full-cycle management of contracts involved in core sales links such as sales, dealer cooperation, marketing, and customer service, including but not limited to reviewing and revising documents like dealership agreement, vehicle sales contracts, after-sales service agreements, advertising contracts, and logistics procurement contracts, supporting commercial negotiations, identifying key local legal risks (e.g., consumer rights protection), and delivering risk control solutions.

Establish internal compliance system, including but not limited to labor employment compliance (e.g., drafting or revising employment contracts, non-compete agreements, employee handbooks, and organizing labor employment training), corporate governance compliance (providing legal guidance for the compliant operation of governing bodies such as the board of directors), and management of corporate qualifications and licenses (supporting the application and maintenance of business qualifications and permits required for automobile import, distribution, and after-sales services).

Manage legal disputes and external lawyers: Lead the resolution of subsidiary legal disputes (including escalated consumer complaints, dealer contract disputes, labor arbitration/litigation, infringement disputes, etc.), formulate dispute response strategies, and reduce dispute risks.

Coordinate with HQ, synchronize the progress of the ZEEKR Malaysia's legal work and implement the HQ's legal and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Major in Law; Bachelor's or master's degree from a renowned domestic or foreign law school.

4-8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE); prior legal service experience in the automobile sales/distribution sector is preferred.

Possession of local legal practice qualification in Malaysia is preferred.

Excellent written and oral English skills, which can be used as working languages.

Strong communication skills with business personnel, outstanding logical thinking ability, stress resistance, multi-tasking ability and problem-solving ability.
