Legal Associate – General Litigation
- Prepare and draft cause papers, including statements of claim, defences, affidavits, submissions and various court applications (interlocutory).
- Conduct in-depth legal research on points of law, analyse case law and prepare research notes and legal opinions for partners and clients.
- Attend court for case managements, mentions and hearings independently or with senior lawyers.
- Assist in managing case files from inception to conclusion, including organising documents, maintaining deadlines and handling the court's e‑filing system.
- Communicate with clients to provide case updates, liaise with opposing counsel and coordinate with court staff and other relevant authorities.
- Provide comprehensive support to senior lawyers and partners in preparation for trials, including assisting with witness preparation, compiling bundles of documents and taking notes during proceedings.
Administration Clerk
- Handle daily office administrative tasks, including filing, scanning and photocopying documents.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
- Manage all incoming and outgoing mail, parcels and courier services.
- Monitor, maintain and order office supplies (e.g., stationery, pantry items).
- Provide general administrative support to the management and other departments.
- Assist in any ad‑hoc tasks as assigned by the Partners.
Qualifications – Legal Associate (General Litigation)
- 0‑1 year Post‑Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Must be an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
- Strong command of English & Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
- Possesses a genuine passion for advocacy and civil litigation.
- Meticulous, responsible and able to travel when required.
- Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to start work immediately or on short notice is an advantage.
Qualifications – Administration Clerk
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
- School leavers are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
- Good communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and spoken).
- Possesses a positive working attitude, responsible and willing to learn.
- Organised, meticulous and able to manage time well.
- Able to start work immediately or on short notice is an advantage.
